Vitamin E for skin, hair and body – Benefits, Uses and Side- Effects

This post is all about vitamin E capsules. A lot of people asked me from where can they get vitamin E capsules and what is the name of the capsules and so on. Now, before getting started let me tell you its benefits and side effects both in short.

Benefits:

Vitamin E is excellent for us in many ways like for our skin, for our nails, for our hair, for our body etc. A lot of skincare or cosmetics brands use vitamin E as one of its ingredients. It provides hydration and moisturisation to us. And moisturized skin gives you a younger look.

Side-effects:

I’ve read somewhere it could be allergic to some people. So, if your skin started reacting after using this, just stop to use. Not all but few people could be allergic to it; fortunately I’m not at all allergic. But this happens rarely.

Description of the Capsule:

I use the capsules “Evion 400” which is easily available in your nearby medical store. It costs you Rs. 20 for 10 capsules which is pretty much affordable. You can get some other brands too but I’ve never used any capsule other than this. To use the capsule, You just have to cut it and take out all the liquid inside.

Top Uses of Vitamin E Capsules:

For skin:

v  Use it as a Night Mask: Mix one vitamin E capsule with Aloevera gel. Leave it overnight and you’ll wake up with really hydrated and glowing skin.

v  Use it in Coffee scrub: Take a tsp of coffee. Add in 2 vitamin E capsules. Mix it well and scrub your face for 3-4 minutes. Wash off your face and it will remove all the dirts and impurities out of your face. Also this scrub is very mild, so even sensitive skin can also use this.

For Lips:

v  Use it as a Lip Balm: You can directly apply the liquid inside the capsule. This will heal your extremely chapped lips making it soft and smooth. It can also help you treat dark and pigmented lips.

For Hair:

v  Use it as a Hair Mask: Take 2 tbsp of curd, Add 1 tbsp of Almond oil or Olive oil and 2 Vitamin E capsules. Mix it all really well and apply it on your hair. Wash it after 60 minutes. This will make your hair super soft and helps you treat dandruff and split ends.

For nails:

v  Use it as cuticle oil: Cut the capsules and apply directly to your nails. Massage it a little and trust me it really works better than those expensive cuticle oils available in the market.

v  Use it as Home Manicure: Take a bowl of warm water. Add 1 tbsp of honey. Also add in lemon juice and 1 vitamin E capsule. Mix it really well. Now Dip your hands in the bowl for 10- 15 minutes. After that Pat dry your hands. This will make your hands super soft.
