How to prevent dry skin in winter

5 Easy but amazing Methods to save your skin this winter
Hello lovely beauties!
No more dry-dry or stretchy kind of skin this winter. I’m here with the easiest of easy methods that will help your face survive this cold weather. Additionally, these methods will brighten your face too along with moisturizing it.

Here are the top 5 remedies to solve your most common problem of dry or flaky skin this winter.
1.       Milk Cream: Everyone knows the benefits of milk cream. It is an excellent moisturizer. What you have to do is very simple- Just rub some milk cream to your face, neck, hands or legs. Leave it on for a while before you take a shower. Do this once daily. OR If you are in rush in morning like me *sad*, you can rub and leave it overnight. This will give you silkier skin.
2.       Olive Oil:  Olive oil contains many antioxidants and healthy fatty acids that are beneficial for your skin. It can soothe and condition dry skin all over our body. Just dab a thin layer of extra virgin olive oil under your regular moisturizer. Leaving it overnight not only makes your skin hydrated but also helps to even out your skin providing you a healthy glow.

3.       Almond Oil: Almond oil has anti-oxidant property so is good for our skin’s overall health. In addition, it is non-greasy and easily absorbable. Gently warm up some pure almond oil and massage your skin lightly at night or half an hour before taking a shower. After your shower, use a light moisturizer. You can do the same with coconut oil to make your skin soft and smooth.

4.       Avocado: Avocado is packed with fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants that improve skin texture from the inside. Simply mash the pulp of an avocado into a smooth paste. Rub it all over your dry skin. Let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water. You can also drink a glass of avocado smoothie daily, as intake of healthy fats help your skin hydrated and moisturized.

5.       Oatmeal: You can also use oatmeal to moisturize your skin. Make a face mask by mixing mashed ripe banana with a cup of ground oatmeal adding a little bit of raw milk. Apply this and leave for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. Use this face mask once a week.

And last but not the least; don’t decrease your intake of water as we all know we don’t feel much thirst in winters as we do in summers. But still water plays a very important role making our skin healthy from inside and hydrated too.
Hope you guys enjoyed. Happy winters!
