Hope you all are doing well.  It’s getting hotter day by day and we all need a sunscreen to protect exposed areas of our skin. So, here I am with a natural, paraben free product to prevent sun tan. This is Biobloom Sunscreen & Day Protect Lotion with Liquorice and Carrot seed. Earlier, I posted review of a face mist by this brand only and I am so so in love with it. Product Description:

This Natural & Chemical Free Sunscreen & Day Protect Lotion is enriched with Liquorice & Carrot Seed Oils. This Paraben Free Sunscreen from Biobloom is free from all toxic chemicals commonly found in commercial sunscreen & protects the skin from external aggression. Liquorice protects against sunlight and UV Rays and Carrot Seed provides the daily requirement of protein & Vitamin E to the skin.

Paraben FREE.

Contains Pure Essential Oils.

Petrochemical Free (NO LLP)

Ingredients:

Purified water, Liquorice Extract, Almond oil, Olive oil, Soyabean oil, Carrot seed oil, Essential oils, Carbopol  940, Glycerine, Coconut derived: Glyceryl Monostearate & Cetostearyl.

Shelf-Life: 18 months.

How to use:

Apply lavishly to all exposed areas of the body including the face, at least 20 minutes before you plan to step out. Repeat application every 2 hours. In case you are in the water like a pool or a beach, repeat application at least every 1 hour.

My experience with Biobloom Sunscreen & Day protect Lotion:

Packaging: It comes in transparent rectangular pump bottle which has a golden neck. It is very handy and travel friendly. I like the packaging as it is very hygienic.

Consistency: The product is yellowish white in color and has a lotion like consistency, not runny. It has a strong fragrance of liquorice which I liked but it might bother people with sensitive nose. Well, the fragrance does not stay for long.

I am using this sunscreen for 3-4 weeks now and I’m quite happy with it. It blends easily and gets absorbed in the skin and feels like I haven’t applied anything on my face. It is not sticky and doesn’t melt out.  It can be applied on the face as well as the body. The one thing I noticed about this particular product that the SPF is not mentioned anywhere.

As I said, it is free from parabens, formaldehyde, sulphates & petrochemicals which is great. The thing which I most liked about the product is that being a sunscreen, it prevents tan pretty well and it also hydrates the skin and makes it softer and smoother. It doesn’t make me sweat a lot as other sunscreens do.

I don’t go outside daily as it needs a lot of guts to face this 44 degree Celsius hot summer. But in the evening when the sun is not too harsh, I apply this and I’m good to go. I am really happy with the results.

Overall, I would say this is a great sunscreen for people like me who sweats a lot. It is suitable for all skin types. People with oily skin or sensitive skin find it difficult to get a good sunscreen. I would recommend you to try this one. This doesn’t make your face oily and it is free from harmful chemicals unlike other sunscreens.

·         Strong liquorice fragrance might not be liked by the sensitive noses.
